The Kapitzke Newlyweds

History was made on May 30, 2015 when Kris and Casey tied the knot. These two were surrounded by friends and family for a memorable ceremony – and it was a tearful one at that!

It was just so beautiful. Very hard not to cry. I mean – that video! You had to be there…

I have had the pleasure to work with both Kris and Casey at Rock Creek Lakes Resort. And I truly mean that it was in fact a true pleasure. Seeing Kris behind the counter selling fishing stuff an Casey slinging burgers behind the grill like a champ is a good energy to be around.  Kris and Casey are both so sweet and sincere that I really can’t think of a better word to describe their love then “pure.”KapitzkeWP-6Getting to spend my day photographing their wedding was a blessing. It was a real joy to follow these two around like a little birdie in the room. I have to admit, I was nervous to be the photographer, as this was the first wedding I photographed inside, not to mention my second wedding to ever photograph, ever – period. And because of this I am so thankful for the Miller family to provide me with such an opportunity to grow as a wedding photographer.

KapitzkeWPBut really, these two were easy to photograph. I’m looking forward to the next time I get them in front of my (upgraded) lenses!
